Ekabakti Search Engine Help

Peace be upon all of you. First of all, before I started this tutorial, I would like to seek refuges from Allah s.w.t, and peace be upon our beloved Prophet s.a.w, His family, His Sahabah and all the believers. Search Help and Documentation which is you're reading right know is a texture help from the programmer. Also, bear in your mind, I'm not a professional programmer and all the text provided in this help is "AS IS" and this documentation intended to help you to fully utilize my search engine.

Introduction to Ekabakti Search Engine

Ekabakti Search Engine is a custom made search engine using PHP Hypertext Processor. It search our records of data in server and bring to you the result. The search engine has devided into three segments, first "Arabic Enabled Search", second "Latin Base Language Search" and third is "Ekabakti E-Pages and Directories". Let we go through one by one of the options provided. THIS ENGINE IS RELEASED ONLINE IN FULL FOR MEMBER OR NON MEMBER WITH FREE OF CHARGES.

Arabic Enabled Search
Even your computer does not have Arabic keyboard, you still can search in Arabic. By referring to "Arabic Keyboard Mapping" provided near to the search button in Arabic Enabled tab, captioning "Search Arabic (Al-Quran, Hadith and Tafsir), user can easily know the assigned key of Arabic letters in their keyboard keys (Standard Arabic 101). The Arabic letters will automatically appears in the text search box and when finished, click "Search" to get the result, if any.

All the Arabic search using "like SQL statement", which is more 'wild' search. However, this option help a lot while searching Arabic text as the text may be existed in many way of formation including "isim, fa'el or masdar". Please notice that the search only support for one, two or three words search (delimited by space). For instance, if you are looking for a hadith that contains this three words "كذب متعمدا المغيرة", in the hadith sahih bukhari, the search will automatically crawl the dataset and return only the hadith that contains all of these words. If you still added the forth word, the forth word will be ignored by the engine. For multi-word searches, all relevancy notification will be mark as "Suggestion Only". Use  two or three word search to narrow your search result and catch the specific verse or hadith quickly.

Using single word in Arabic Search
As the character set of Arabic is quite weird compared to Latin characters, the server may be wildly search the database. The close similarity between Arabic characters, for example letter "kha" and "ha", will make the server 'little' confuses with the word and will yield the irrelevant result. Therefore, a void using single word search as it will make you quite shock with a huge of result. However, if you still need the single word search, you may see the Relevant notification in the bottom of each verse or hadith and the irrelevant result (result not containing any the search keyword) will be mark as "Suggestion Only" in italic and red fore-color. If the text search is found in the verse, or hadith, the relevancy will be mark as 100%.

Search the Hadith Index in Sunan Sittah
Sunan Sittah refers to the great six book of hadith included Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Al-Tarmidzi, Sunan Ibnu Majah, Sunan Al-Nasaie and Sunan Abi Daud. The Index Hadith of Sunan Sittah is our original work, where we created 49300 words of index that representing all the book in one search. All the index has been pre-searched using our computer and recorded in a recordset and shared in this website for searching. For example, if you are looking for hadith in index "متعمدا", the search engine will list the figures of hadith found in each book. For example for this index, it will list like:

Sahih Bukhari - 12 hadith found
Sahih Muslim - 6 hadith found
Sunan Tarmidzi - 10 hadith found
Sunan Al-Nasaie - 16 hadith found
Sunan Abu Daud - 7 hadith found
Sunan Ibnu Majah - 10 hadith found

You may click on the book name, and the search engine will list all the hadith in particular book for you to read through.

Search with word less than three Arabic letters
Try to avoid searching word that containing only three letters such as "حيض" or others, as the word matching is not perfectly done by the engine. If you still need to find the word, use it as single word, and refer to "relevant notification" for help, or two other words with the word to narrow your search. Unless, you will burned with irrelevant results all the ways.

Latin Base Language Search
If you are looking verse of Al-Quran translation or bible verses, you may search directly using the tabs provided for Latin Search. The search for latin uses "full text search technology" where it will search the text smartly. Please be notice that, a search word with less than three letters, will yielded zero result. You also may use "Boolean" operators like minus or plus to narrow your search result. For example "+moses +aaron", will let the search engine resulted only the verse containing both words "Moses" and "Aaron". However, if you search "+aaron -moses", all the verse that containing word "aaron" will be listed except the verse that contain together with word "Moses".
